Bio: I grew up in Groves, Texas (in the Beaumont-Pt.Arthur area). I graduated from Pt. Neches-Groves High School in 1964. Then I went to college at Millsaps College in Jackson, MS, graduating in 1968; and to seminary at St. Paul School of Theology in Kansas City, Mo., graduating in 1971. I was married in 1968. After seminary, I was the pastor of churches in Texas until moving to Iowa in 1978. After 33 years of ministry, I took early retirement in 2002, and am buying a home in Estherville, IA. My wife and I have three children and one grandchild. Since retirement, I have worked in sales and telemarketing, have been involved in home based businesses, and spend a lot of time (far too much time!) on the computer.
